Biography

Dr. Mohammad Mahsun, S.E., M.Si., M.H., Ak., CA., CPA., CFrA., CIPSAS., CFI., CHFI. is a highly accomplished academic, public accountant, and leading expert in forensic auditing and financial criminology in Indonesia. He currently serves as the Managing Partner at KAP MNK & Partners and is the Founder of PUSAKA (Financial Criminology). Possessing an extensive array of top-tier professional certifications, he bridges the gap between complex financial analysis, law, and digital forensics.

In his professional capacity, Dr. Mahsun is deeply involved in shaping national auditing standards and advancing the accounting profession. He holds prominent leadership roles, including serving as the Vice Chair of the Investigator Accountants Forum of the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IAPI), a member of the Public Accountant Professional Standards Board (DSAP II IAPI), the Chairman of the Audit Organization of Indonesia (OAI) “Global Assurance Network”, and the Chairman of the Association of Public Sector Accounting Educators (APSAE).

Beyond his practice as a senior auditor and investigator, Dr. Mahsun is a respected figure in higher education. He serves as the Chairman of STIE Widya Wiwaha Yogyakarta and frequently teaches advanced forensic auditing and public sector accounting at several top universities, such as Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII).
