Biography

Dr. Edy Haryanto, S.H., M.H. is a dedicated academic and professional, serving as a Lecturer. He pursued his legal education continuously, starting from his Bachelor’s degree (S1) at Universitas Ibnu Chaldun in 2011, his Master’s degree (S2) at Universitas Jayabaya in 2014, and successfully obtaining his Doctorate in Law (S3) from Universitas Jayabaya in 2022. His expertise and thoughts are poured into various national and international scientific works, with a special focus on the presidential system, the legal politics of child protection, and the reform of the juvenile criminal justice system.

Outside the academic realm, he actively holds strategic positions in various institutions and community organizations. He serves as the President Director of PT. Bintangsurya Sentosa Abadi and is entrusted as the General Chairman of Yayasan Pembina Pendidikan Ibnu Chaldun. His extensive organizational experience is also evident from his tenure as Chairman of the Central Board of the Pemuda Pancasila Cadreization Implementing Body for the 2019-2024 period, Treasurer of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Matraman East Jakarta since 2016, and his significant involvement in the Selection Team for BAWASLU Member Candidates for Maluku Province in 2022 and South Papua Province in 2023.
